A Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee for Carol Reed’s 1968 film musical, Oliver!, Ron Moody has died. He was 91. Moody, who was born in Tottenham in 1924, originated the iconic role of Fagin in Lionel Bart’s West End stage version of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist in 1960.
