Good news: older siblings are still cool.






asked 20 teens from across the U.S. how they find new music. Here are the totally anecdotal, but still pretty interesting, results. Some takeaways? Teens go to Livemixtapes and HotNewHipHop for free, album-length mixtape downloads and Spotify is more popular than any other streaming service. Real people, like girlfriends, siblings, and pen pals, are still dependable recommendation sources, but T.V. isn't.
